Cynthia Bowling is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 40 years experience as a therapist working with adults, children, adolescents, families and couples.

At this time she is the only psychotherapist in Kentucky who has been certified in Advanced Integrative Therapy.

Advanced Integrative Therapy, or AIT, is a dynamic and new in-depth energy psychology that begins from the premise that ALL upsetting events are traumas and are lodged within the body, mind and spirit.  Talking gives us insight into our traumas and distress, but often does too little to resolve them completely. AIT removes the energy within us that is made up of our particular responses to the incidents and patterns that hurt or upset us throughout our lives.  The healing is complete, more gentle and permanent.

AIT integrates the best established and proven therapies and then adds a new body-based element which simply and gently addresses and clears those aspects of the issue that are stored in the body.  In this way, the issue gets completely resolved!

For healing to be complete, it’s vital for our conscious and unconscious to be in agreement to heal. Many people who enter therapy have core beliefs that would cause them to resist their treatment—often unconsciously and arising from traumas they have experienced. AIT identifies and transforms these beliefs, which enhances treatment.
AIT also helps identify and treat the psychological messages from the body that are behind pain and illness. People then usually respond more completely to medical treatment.

Kim had me when we were getting to know each other and said “I left my job in hospital critical care... TO CHANGE HEALTH CARE!!!”

And that’s what were doing! We’re attending to healing and nurturing the whole person - Body, Mind and Spirit💜

That’s what I believe in, with all my heart.
